West German Palisander Highboard, 1960's, in the style of Mustering

This substantial West German highboard from the 1960s is executed in beautifully grained palisander veneer, showing a strong symmetrical flame pattern across the front. The depth of the grain gives the piece a sculptural presence while the overall design remains clean and architectural.

The layout is carefully balanced. A central display section with sliding glass doors and glass shelves creates visual openness. On both sides, generous closed compartments provide practical storage. Multiple drawers offer additional organisation. The original square wooden handles and tapered legs with metal caps are intact, reinforcing the authentic mid century character.

The construction is solid and heavy, typical for quality German production of this period. The cabinet stands firm and stable. The veneer is well preserved and the piece remains in very good vintage condition with only minimal signs of age.
