This charming vintage table lamp was produced by Peill & Putzler in Germany during the 1970s, and it’s a beautiful example of Mid-Century Modern lighting design. The lamp features the brand’s iconic mushroom silhouette, crafted entirely from striped white opaline glass — a material known for its soft diffusion of light and timeless elegance.
Both the rounded dome and cylindrical base are made from the same marbled glass, with delicate beige and white swirl patterns running through the surface. When lit, the lamp emits a warm, ambient glow that brings texture and atmosphere to any interior. Whether used as a bedside lamp, a decorative accent on a sideboard, or mood lighting in a modern space, this piece adds subtle sophistication and sculptural presence.
The lamp retains its original "Putzler Germany" sticker and is fitted with a brass rotary switch on the cord, typical of its period. It’s in very good vintage condition, with only minimal signs of age, and is fully functional.
